It is a story about twins, a boy and a girl. Their adventure takes place over a day or so. We are introduced to their happy life, living with their parents on their farm and doing the chores that are required of them. As we quickly find out, the stories they have been told by their friends in the village of “a forbidden forest” and wonderful “treasure” has an effect on them.

Together they decide to embark on an adventure into the unknown, where they encounter strange creatures, who, in their own way, not only guide them back home but subtly teach them valuable life lessons, such as truth, and honesty.

Into the Forest weaves poems of well known tales into its enchanting story.
