By the end of Level 1, students can identify all letter shapes, produce their corresponding sounds, and begin blending simple words independently. Each book contains 15 units of learning, and every unit guides children on how to blend and segment sounds to read and spell words. There are integrated readers in every unit that can be pulled out and read in class or taken home, as well as regular review lessons to monitor progress.
