A Passion for Passion

A Wildly Funny Romp Through Romance Fiction

A Passion for Passion is a hilarious celebration of romance novels, and a love letter to the genre's most joyful rule-bound silliness.

‘A predictably brilliant and joyful satirical page-turner’ Deborah Frances-White, comedian and host of The Guilty Feminist podcast

From award-winning comedian and podcast host Alice Fraser, A Passion for Passion is a hilariously unique ode to romance novels. Brimming with satire and the tropes all romance fans adore, this is an entirely fictional collection of book covers, characters and synopses of the world's most prolific (and imaginary) romance author: D'Ancey LaGuarde.

Spanning A Knight of Passion to The Dragon Lord's Lady, this is an exclusive glimpse into D'Ancey's most absurd and whimsical works, and a fulsome challenge to anyone denying the importance of joy purely for its own sake.

A laugh-out-loud must-read for romance fans, and the perfect companion for those long, lonely nights.
