Miracle Man

For a Jesuit educated lawyer what better job could you have than being on the Vatican’s ‘Miracles Committee’. A novel which shows that miracles and the Roman Catholic Church can be both fun and intriguing.

Having visited the Vatican in a dramatic style as a trainee lawyer, Roberto Barella secures his dream job. He becomes Legal Counsel to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, the committee that considers and approves miracle applications worldwide.

When Roberto is not causing chaos in Argentina or disgracing himself in Las Vegas, he can enjoy the wonders of the Vatican, its hidden treasures, eccentric characters, and artistic beauty.

All this is put in jeopardy when he is called upon by his boss, Cardinal Lorenzo, to help protect the very foundations of Catholicism. They must share the most fundamental of secrets, one that was must be preserved even if it means taking unconventional action and possibly risking excommunication.

Miracle Man is an hilarious thriller which reveals the secret of the Turin Shroud, gives insight into how miracles are approved, throws light on the Conclave and does so in a humorous and often blasphemous manner.
