When Lewis relocates from London to Cairo on a career break, he is disillusioned and aimless. The city is splintered by deep inequality and an air of desperation.

His budding connection with Nailah, an offbeat and engaging art gallery curator, becomes a conflicted haven. Her cutting musings and quirks shake his perception of his life and relationship with his partner, Juliette. As Nailah bares her soul, she illuminates the troubles afflicting Cairo and its people, as well as the darker enclaves of Lewis’ own psyche.

Submerged in a sinister underbelly of society, Lewis must grapple with morality and desire, where his choices will shape the rest of his life.
