Since we started as Poetry Nation, a twice yearly hardback, in 1973, we've been publishing new poetry, rediscoveries, commentary, literary essays, interviews and reviews from around the globe.

This issue includes Anthony Vahni Capildeo’s first letter from Lima, Peru; Stav Poleg’s new long poem, ‘The Banquet’, explores the vernacular; The late Stanley Moss talking candidly to Neilson MacKay; Horatio Morpurgo on the particulars of Immigration and the Owl and the Nightingale; and Gabriel Josipovici re-enacts the Battle of Maldon.
