The photos explore topics that include being a telegram boy, working as a bus conductor and the original recyclers – rag and bone men! Many of the topics are “living history” and the author has interviewed people who were born during the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s who were delighted to share their Memories of Going to Work for the book.
