As we go through life we weather many storms. We lose family members, close friends and animals we love. For Alice, the loss of a much-loved tree made her wonder how we can continue to make life beautiful even after it has been marred by grief. She has no answers, only stories to be shared.

Alice discovered recently that the loss of a much-loved tree, planted before she was born, caused an emotional upheaval she had not anticipated. With the loss of her favourite tree that had enriched her life for decades, she began to ask herself are there ways to make later life rich and interesting? How do you make growing older a good time in life? 

She has no answers, only a story to be shared.
