In this book, Director Loukia Hadjigavriel selects highlights from the Collection. From the outstanding paintings and objets d’art - Old Master paintings, Dutch still lifes, light-spirited Rococo pastorals, and boldly coloured pointillist and fauve canvases; through the Gold Collection, where gold coins from antiquity unfold the history of the rulers and artists who created them; and into the development of modern Greek art, as well as the first generation of Cypriot artists from the beginning of the 20th century.
