Her friend Ray was sent here before he vanished without explanation. The only clues he left behind were frantic warnings about a creature called the caliginent — a monster that feeds on thoughts and devours sanity.

As Saffron searches for answers through forbidden rooms, cult-like séances, and disturbing drug trials, the line between truth and delusion begins to blur. The shadows grow closer. Her thoughts become unreliable. And Saffron begins to fear the most dangerous thing in these cells might not be the monster everyone fears — but her own unraveling mind.
