Humility is a spiritual practice, a muscle you've been strengthening through all the Steps that came before. What seemed impossible when you were using substances now seems doable.

Upon taking the Seventh Step, you will find that you no longer have a need to hide from others or compare yourself to others. You will be able to deepen the new practice of really accepting and loving yourself.
