Each of the seventy-eight cards features three keywords on the front for instant access to the traditional tarot meanings. The four suits have been renamed according to their element rather than their symbol, which further enhances the deck’s connection to nature: water rather than cups, fire rather than wands, wind rather than swords, and earth rather than pentacles. The ninety-six-page full-color booklet includes the traditional tarot meanings as well as an oracle-style message. The message presents “the medicine,” a word used in indigenous spiritual traditions to refer to the spiritual healing power with which each animal or plant is endowed.
