We have learned through the many years of work with crime victims, that validation of the pain and trauma is one of the most important things we can do to assist those that have been affected by crime.

Throughout this book, the author provides the reader with personal experiences of what it is like to work with victim survivors of crime and what he's learned in working with these brave men, women, and children. He's written this book to honor their stories, to share their thoughts, through hours of interviews and being in the trenches with them learning and listening as to how he can become a better human being and a help agent in assisting them in their personal journeys.
