Holy Knight Gilbert, who was on the verge of being executed as a defeated general, was saved by Chris, a puppeteer from the enemy country.

However, Chris's true intention was to use Gilbert's "soul" to create a new puppet, one more realistic and lifelike than anything he'd made before. Gilbert is reluctant to accept Chris's ideas, but finds himself faced with an impossible decision: to die as a prisoner of war, or become a puppet.

Refusing to accept either of these options, Gilbert begs Chris to use him for his own pleasure instead. Chris accepts, and as the nights of being toyed with continue, Gilbert's stubbornness begins to melt away.
