Antengai: Twilight Metropolis Volume 1

Illusory Almanac

A dark fantasy fusion of manga and artbook in a unique retro Japanese style

From avant-garde illustrator Tsubonari comes a full-color retro encyclopedia-manga fusion that details the perseverance and lives of residents of a grim, decadent city . not for the faint of heart.

Welcome to Antengai—an overcast city where humans and spirits live side by side. An isolated island; simultaneously, a single maligned metropolis. Cut off from all communication with the modern world, the forgotten city is a den of occult happenings. Law and order have all but vanished and slum districts are commonplace, and yet, its residents live their days with resilience and find surprising things to cherish.
Antengai overflows with mysteries . and with things that must never be known. If one longs to uncover its truths, it comes at a cost. What fate awaits a young information broker who seeks to record the full truth of Antengai?
