A huge twisting vine has suddenly sprung up at the edge of Gotham City, and Batman is on his way to investigate. As the Dark Knight climbs the towering plant into the viny penthouse at the top, he expects to find a certain green criminal waiting for him. But instead the superhero discovers people being held prisoner. and a surprise hulking foe! Can Batman sneak past the villain to make the rescues and then take down the vegetal monstrosity? In this twisted retelling, DC superheroes and super-villains collide with the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale to create an action-packed chapter book for kids!
