In this fiction, Bug Club Reading Corner book, Dan loves bugs, but his sister Emma hates them. Dan takes his pet spider, Tom, on a family camping trip. When Emma gets into Dan's tent during the night he warns her that the spider is there but she doesn't listen. She gets a nasty surprise when it drops on her.
