Dear Heart

Dear Heart is a tender, slow-burn, friends-to-lovers romance filled with yearning and gorgeous letter writing from debut author Layla Cove.

To everyone else, they’re inseparable. To him, they’re best friends. To her, he’s everything.

Tender, sweet and filled with heartfelt yearning, Dear Heart by Layla Cove is a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers romance for fans of Christina Lauren, Abby Jimenez and Lia Louis.

For years, Mila has poured her heart into letters for her future love, dreaming of someone who could finally mend her broken pieces. She just never imagined it would be the man whose shoulder she’d cried on all these years.

Samuel is Mila's best friend of over a decade, whose world of penthouses and board meetings is miles from her own. She never meant to fall for him. But life has a way of forcing her hand.

After her career falls apart and her London flat floods, Mila has nowhere left to turn but Samuel. Now living and working together, the forced proximity shatters their decade-old boundaries, and she can no longer deny that every secret line she ever wrote was meant for him.

Loving him means risking the most precious thing in her life: the friendship they already have. If she tells him the truth, she could lose him forever. If she doesn’t, she might break her own heart instead .

Dear Heart is a story of lifelong best friends, forced proximity, unspoken love, yearning so deep it hurts, and the risk of losing everything for the chance at forever.
