Moss Effect

Bestselling author Rebecca Thorne delights with the second book in her cosy science fiction adventue with heartwarming romance.

'Absolutely wonderful . This book is a treasure!’ – Sarah Beth Durst, bestselling author of The Spellshop, on Moss'd In Space

A dangerous deadline. Forced proximity. And a plant with a plan.

If Torian Razner was taking bets, ‘getting stranded on an alien homeworld’ wasn’t on the list for today. (Moss had it at Possibility no. 3,794, but no one consulted the ship’s computer.) And yet, this is exactly where she finds herself – in a grassy field alongside (her definitely-not-girlfriend) Amelia Perrosk.

Torian didn’t ask for this, but certainly won’t complain about this forced proximity. And as they traverse an alien landscape, things heat up, and Torian can’t quite remember why they shouldn’t be together.

But if they don’t return to their ship in three days, Amelia's quartermaster will reveal the location of their vulnerable human colony to predatory smugglers. Fortunately, their snarky plant companion, Moss, is thrilled to try a distinctly human tactic: blackmail.

This is the second instalment in the fabulously cosy Moss'd in Space series, from Sunday Times bestselling author Rebecca Thorne.

If you love Firefly's adventures in space, the lovable alien cast of Mass Effect and the cosiness of Legends & Lattes, this is for you.
