Presents the Sh'ma and its blessings for both evening and morning services, as well as introductory chapters on Ein Keloheinu and Adon Olam. Phonics review helps solidify and expand existing skills. Ample opportunities for reading practice throughout supplement Hebrew vocabulary and activities that foster understanding of prayer concepts. Synagogue skills and the choreography of Jewish worship teach students how to pray. Conceptual materials and creative worship experiences explore the question of why we pray.
