Once the site has been chosen, Matthew and Luis design all aspects of the event, from the invitations and place cards to the flowers, table settings, and menu, while simultaneously managing all the logistics and collaborating with the clients to realize their unique vision. Invited takes readers to events all over the world, in sites as disparate as Los Cabos and Mallorca, Jamaica and Provence, the Hamptons and Cartagena, New York and Tuscany. Each locale provides Matthew and Luis with the inspiration for the event’s color scheme, decorations, flowers, and food. The exquisitely atmospheric photographs capture the ineffable romance and joy of these celebratory occasions, personalized to reflect the specific tastes and preferences of the clients and all of which seem to have been pulled off effortlessly. Complete with three 8-page inserts featuring the way Matthew and Luis entertain at home, Invited is the book that everyone contemplating a celebration will need.
