The Customs Accounts of Newcastle upon Tyne 1454-1500

All thirteen of the extant Controller's accounts from the period 1454-1500 are included. These supply a record of the customs and subsidies on exports and imports. Each account is provided with a short introduction discussing the physical appearance of the membranes and the accounts.
