The Lady Is a General

Lessons from a Trailblazing Prophet's Call to Shape Nations
From shy pastor's kid to global ministry leader, Cindy Jacobs opens up about her life story to share hard-won lessons from pioneering in ministry. Discover how to persevere through opposition, overcome personal limitations, navigate your calling, and finish well--whether you're just starting out or looking to leave a legacy that lasts.
Be mentored by a prophetic pioneer's lifetime of ministry wisdom

From a shy pastor's kid growing up in Texas in the 1950s to prophet, preacher, pioneer, intercessor, mentor, and advocate for other women leaders, Cindy Jacobs has had an incredible life. Her more than forty years of prophetic ministry have taken her to over 100 nations, into the presence of heads of state, and to the founding of Generals International--one of the most significant intercessory and prophetic organizations in the world.

In The Lady Is a General, Jacobs tells that story in full--and mines it for the hard-won lessons she longs to pass on to the next generation. This is both a deeply personal memoir and a remarkably practical guide: not just how she got here, but what she learned along the way that can shorten your journey and strengthen your resolve.

Whether you are just beginning to say yes to your calling or are a seasoned leader looking to finish well and leave a lasting legacy, this book will help you:
● Recognize and respond to God's promptings -- learning to distinguish divine opportunity from distraction, even when the call feels impossibly large
● Avoid pitfalls that stunt spiritual growth -- the subtle traps that derail gifted leaders before they fully step into their purpose
● Navigate the challenges of leading as a woman -- with honesty about the resistance Jacobs faced and the wisdom she developed to move through it without bitterness
● Persevere through opposition and personal limitation -- running the race with joy, keeping the ultimate prize in view across decades of ministry
● Mentor the next generation -- because a calling to shape nations is never meant to stop with one person

The Lady Is a General is the capstone work from one of the defining voices of the global prophetic movement--a woman who started as a reluctant pastor's daughter and became a general in God's army. It is for anyone called to something bigger than themselves: a nation, a movement, a generation, a legacy.

Cindy Jacobs said yes when everything in her wanted to say no. This book is her invitation for you to do the same. Pick up The Lady Is a General and let one of God's most proven generals show you how to advance, endure, and finish well.
