The quilts, created by award-winning fiber artists and accomplished amateurs, reflect Virginia's 250 years in the US in a remarkable way. From Ella Fitzgerald to Dave Matthews, from Chapstick to peanut farms, from the Underground Railroad to America's railroad industry, the quilts deliver a new perspective.

In conjunction with the prestigious Virginia Quilt Museum's mission to cultivate and preserve the quilting arts in Virginia, these quilts were expressly made for the US semiquincentennial.
