These materials are for the most part sets of notes from courses at the University of Wisconsin on micro and macro-monetary theory dating from 1954-5; from courses at the University of Chicago during 1947 on the politics of agriculture and 1963-1964 on industrial organization, the theory of the firm and on corporate finance; and from courses at Northwestern University during 1966-1967 on economic theory and on monetary institutions and policies; a faculty seminar at Michigan State University in 1974 on myth, theology and society; a course in U.S. constitutional history at the University of Miami in 1953; and a series of journal entries from courses in institutional and behavioral economics at Michigan State University. Included are notes from two courses given by Nobel laureates, George Stigler and Merton Miller. The series presents review essays, multiple reviews and mini symposia on new-works in this field. The volumes are broad in scope, and the series fills a substantial gap in this field.
