Bloor highlights the distinctive purposes inherent in both Jesus’ earthly and heavenly achievements, with the latter concerned particularly with Yom Kippur imagery and the purgation of the consciousness. Bloor concludes by differentiating between Jesus’ session, present heavenly activity and perpetual heavenly blood offering.
