In this memory and matching game, each character has lost something they treasure – and it’s up to the players to help them find it. From a glittering amulet to a prized helmet or even a favourite comb, players must race to find and match the two halves of as many missing objects as possible. But beware – not everything that glitters is gold! Wriggly worms, empty cans and stray buttons lie hidden among the treasures.

With richly illustrated character cards and object tiles, Dig! is designed to spark young imaginations and bring archaeological discoveries to life. Unfold the poster to learn about the eighteen artefacts included in the game. Each object has been chosen for its real-world significance, encouraging children to connect the items with the lives and cultures of the past.

Discover the first map of the night sky, used by ancient farmers to guide the sowing and harvesting of crops, and the Aztec mask made to honour a powerful Fire God. You’ll even learn about one the oldest sculptures in the world – which is smaller than a banana! Whether in the classroom or at home, the poster turns Dig! into a springboard for exploring history, diverse cultures, and the everyday objects people have treasured across time.
