Several chapters are devoted to basic science of oncogenic viruses for the study of their pathogenesis, drug development, and employment of viral vectors for vaccine and gene therapy. Clinical materials are embedded within chapters, and there are also complementary, clinically based chapters describing natural courses and treatments.
