It provides students with the opportunity to study new, relevant topics, such as Hot War/Cold War and Twentieth Century Medicine. It uses questions to make students stop and think about what they have learnt, and provides opportunities for extended writing , thus ensuring a thorough grounding for the more demanding work required at GCSE and A-Level.
