Diagnosed with a rare retinoblastoma at 12 years old, Livi Deane was desperate not to lose her eye. Sadly chemotherapy couldn't remove the cancer and her eye was removed at 14 years old. Here she tells her story of grief, resilience and ultimately, positivity.

Livi was already frail, scared and had lost all her hair to the aggressive cancer treatment. But now the resilient teen was facing her biggest challenge yet.After falling into depression following the life changing surgery, Livi picked herself back up and rediscovered her strength, adjusting to life with a prosthetic eye. Livi speaks fearlessly about living with impaired vision and a prosthetic eye.
