"Remixing the Classroom" In Practice engages directly with Randall Allsup's groundbreaking Remixing the Classroom: Toward an Open Philosophy of Music Education by sharing what democratic, creative, and student-centered approaches to music education look like when applied in the field.
Through narrative essays covering a spectrum of contexts, including piano studios, choir ensembles, pre-service teacher education, and digital music spaces, "Remixing the Classroom" in Practice explores how issues of music teacher quality are intertwined with ethical and moral considerations that are central to educational practice in any setting.
