Gold band fiction books offer developing readers literary language and stories with distinctive characters. More formal non-fiction is included, with a range of unfamiliar terms used. The Gold Band Set is aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils in Year 2 and contains 43 fiction and non-fiction books.
