Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.

Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.

Fluency 13 books have a word count of 6720 words with an expected reading rate of 140 words per minute.

In the midst of the Second World War, there is a call for all boys to help collect scrap metal for the war effort. Peggy decides it shouldn’t just be boys, so she and her friend Jed head off as well.
