Vuelve Gorillaz. El 9 de Marzo se publica ´Plastic Beach´, su nuevo y tercer álbum.
Stylo es el primer single que se extrae y cuenta con la colaboración de Mos Def y Bobby Womack.
Han pasado 5 años desde el lanzamiento de Demon Days, Murdoc Niccals y compañía vuelven con Gorillaz. La banda se instaló para grabar en una isla flotante secreta en el sur del Pacífico, Plastic Beach, hecha de desechos, escombros, restos de humanidad. Plastic Beach es el punto más lejano desde cualquier parte de masa continental en la Tierra.
Conocida como la banda animada más importante, Gorillaz se formaron en 1998 y desde entonces han vendido 12 millones copias entre sus dos álbumes de estudio Gorillaz (2000) y Demon Days (2005). Han sido número 1 en más de una docena de países y han recogido multitud de premios incluyendo Grammys, Novellos, VMAs y EMAs.
