Slumber Party Massacre

A contemporary reimagining of the 1982 slasher cult classic. A slumber party turns into a bloodbath, as a psychotic serial killer wielding a power drill disrupts the fun.SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE follows a group of female high school students whose post-graduation slumber party turns into a bloodbath, as a recently escaped psychotic serial killer wielding a power drill prowls the woods near their rented cabin. With equal lashings of laughs and gore, Danishka Esterhazy's satirical slasher can join a shortlist of films that include THE BLOB (1988), HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1999), and MANIAC (2012) as rare reimaginings that genuinely work and arguably eclipse their original source.
