This crystal clear digitally recorded nature CD is from the remote Finke River in Australia's Northern Territory. It is a magnificent mixture of water birds, forest birds, running water and the atmosphere of a remote forest. The Northern Territory of Australia is a true wilderness. The Finke River is cited as an 'Ornithologist heaven'. It has hundreds of different bird species and many of these can be heard on this recording. Recorded predominantly at dawn, Misty River Dawn features the choir of the native bird life of the region when they come out to welcome each new day in their own special way. This is most definitely a step above your average alarm clock ringing loudly in the morning. This CD is of particular use if you suffer from insomnia, as the running water and bird song harmonies are just so easy to fall asleep to instantly. This album is professionally recorded with a digital mixer and a highly sensitive condenser stereo microphone. What you hear on the CD is like what you would hear if you were there in the wild.
