Husky Rescue is a five piece from Helsinki, Finland. The music they play is their own blend of fragile folk, cinematic moods and uptempo rock you can tap your feet to. Having achieved critical acclaim for their debut album 'Country Falls' & wowed audiences world-wide with their hypnotic live sets, Husky Rescue return once again with their hauntingly gorgeous new album, 'Ghost Is Not Real'. Unlike the current vogue for singer/songwriters who tell stories about things happening that start and end in the real world. Husky Rescue are interested in opening doors to other worlds with no specific destination or conclusion in mind. Their first album 'Country Falls', was a small parcel of sweet and melancholic daydreams. The new one 'Ghost Is Not Real' has a much darker atmosphere & mood altogether. ?Husky Rescue, the brainchild of musical maestro MARKO NYBERG, who first entered the public consciousness with a series of (now highly collectable) vinyl releases on CATSKILLS RECORDS Their blend of lush melodies and entrancing soundscapes struck a chord with the public and the press alike. As demand grew, Husky Rescue transformed from a studio project to a full live band, fronted by the distinctive ethereal vocals of REETA-LEENA KORHOLA. The band have since toured widely across Europe and the USA, having returned from America as part of the LOLLAPALOOZA tour.
