Giants of Science are a rock band from Brisbane, Australia consisting of Ben Salter (Vocals/guitar) Steve Lynagh (Drums) Matt Tanner (Bass) and Benjamin Tuite (Lead Guitar). Their material is a combination of Detroit style rock'n'roll, stoner rock grooves ala QOTSA and Swervedriver/Sonic Youth style guitar atmospherics, all served up with a distinctly Antipodean attitude. Since their formation in 1999 they have released 2 studio albums, two EPs and this live album. They have champagne taste, beer money and bad attitudes, and are clearly much better than any of your stupid bands.
