Warriors of Heaven and Earth

Li is a former Tang Dynasty Warrior and a master swordsman. After refusing to commit any more senseless acts of violence against the revolutionaries, Li is sentenced to death, escapes and becomes a fugitive on the run. This film, heavy with swordplay, revolves around a caravan, during China's Tang Dynasty in the western territories, that is carrying a sacred bone of the Buddha. The caravan, however, is just the setting, as the film follows several characters, each with different motives, including An, who plans to steal the bone.
