Das Tiroler Weihnachtskonzert 2021 war einer Musikerpersönlichkeit gewidmet, die in der Tiroler Musiklandschaft des 18. Jahrhundert markante Spuren hinterlassen hat: Jan Zach (1713-1773). Zach hielt sich mehrfach in Tirol auf. Seine Werke sind in vielen Tiroler Musikarchiven erhalten geblieben, vor allem im Zisterzienserstift Stams, dem wichtigsten Überlieferungsort seiner Werke überhaupt.
