Ein Super8-Ferienfilm wird zur Auferstehung der Untoten, heimatliche Idyllen werden gespenstisch untergraben: 2017 adaptierten Nature Theater of Oklahoma (Kelly Copper und Pavol Liska) beim 'steirischen herbst' Elfriede Jelineks Opus magnum, den Gespensterroman Die Kinder der Toten , an den Originalschauplätzen in der Obersteiermark. Als Performance wurde das Projekt 2018 mit dem Nestroy Preis prämiert. 2019 erhielt es u.a. den renommierten Preis der Internationalen Filmkritik. Die vorliegende DVD vereint erstmals den Film sowie Ulrich A. Reiterers Dokumentation 'Die Untoten von Neuberg'.
