FAR EAST – The Indo-Jazz Big Band Suite by Georg Gratzer is a declaration of love in three movements. Through this musical travel diary the multi-instrumentalist tells the tale of his encounters with special people, extended concert tours across the subcontinent and most importantly his love of Indian music and jazz. It’s a very uncomplicated love triangle, which has been established for life and beyond through month-long studio sessions with the legendary Indian Dhrupad singers - the Gundecha Brothers.
