Marking a bold evolution in YB’s musical journey, Odyssey expands the band’s signature sound with an intense and weighty hybrid metal style rooted in Djent. This six-track album embarks on a profound journey of self-discovery, navigating through external oppression and internal struggles. More than just music, it tells a universal story that carries the raw and powerful message YB seeks to deliver. Produced by Choi Tae-seop, former bassist of legendary Korean metal band Rainy Sun, the album also features some of Korea’s top metal musicians, including members of post-metal band Day of Mourning (Lee Kang-to, Choi Joon-yong, Yeo Hyun-joon), Djent guitar virtuosos Yang Jin-hyun and Jung Mato, and Synsnake’s lead guitarist Shin Jae-min, known for pioneering the K-metal scene. Additionally, Lee Jae-hyun of Quartz—often dubbed "Korea’s Tool" joins the lineup, further enriching the album’s sonic landscape.
