New album from Lille quartet, 19 songs in 22 minutes. As always they deliver that catchy clean guitar, blast beats, punk rock sing along and bitter lyrics. Saint-Lundi was a tradition among the western Europe working class, dating back to medieval age. Workers took off Mondays without a warning, often to meet at the tavern and party. Along the centuries, it started to expand to tuesday, and wednesday. It was the occasion to discuss political matters and self organize, leading to impromptu strikes the next days. It was also about reclaiming some free time outside of sundays, day of the church. The mass industries in the 19th century, and the rarefaction of workshops led to the disappearance of the Saint Lundi, a joyful and rebellious form of self-organization.
