PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
After leaving The Faces, 'I've Got My Own Album To Do' Wood released his first solo album, a collection of soul-grooves, reggae, and of course rock 'n' roll. Eleven tracks including Jagger and Richards on "Sure The One You Need" and "Act Together" with also on backing vocals from Ruby Turner. Opening track "I Can Feel The Fire" is a groovy reggae-ish number, that has the voices of Wood, Jagger and David Bowie with Keith on the guitar. The second track, "Far East Man" includes George Harrison on slide guitar and backing vocals. Mick Taylor plays bass, guitar, piano and synthesizer on several tracks. "Mystifies Me" is a bluesy with Steamhammer's Martin Quittenton on guitar and Ian McLagan on organ. This album may explain why "Woody" was signed up as a Stone.
