The young and energetic Claude broke through in 2022 with his catchy debut single 'Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot)'. With 54 million streams, the single took the first position in the Dutch Top 40 and Spotify's Top 50. This made it the #4 most streamed song of 2023 on Spotify. This great success led to Claude being immediately nominated for a Dutch Grammy in the 'Best Newcomer' category in his first year. Claude's success also extended beyond national borders, as the English-French version of 'Ladada' entered the charts in more than 15 countries.

This was followed by his Platinum song 'Layla', which was also released internationally. The dream collaboration 'Vas-Y' with his great heroes Suzan and Freek was once again high in the charts and was nominated for a Grammy in the 'Best Song' category. Claude also sang this beautiful song four times in a sold-out Ziggo Dome during the duo's concerts. With all these successes under his belt, Claude managed to win the award for 'Best Artist (National)' during last year's Top 40 Awards.
