The third CD of the California group around Bill Wolfer already suggests on the cover that the production must have a lot to do with Cuba. The look at the list of "Special Guests/Invitados" confirms this: a whole range of Cuban guest musicians is listed here. And so the CD sounds: very Cuban! And yet, it is not pure son or pure timba, but rather an unconventional mix of son, timba, chachacha, danzon, latin jazz, rock and sparkle elements.
