Annie is a vrolijk 10-year meid, the lid wordt van de toneelclub van haar woonplaats Plato's Peak. Wanneer ze vlak voor kerst wordt gekozen tot voorzitter, is ze zo verblind door hair eigen succes, dat ze vergeet waar het bij kerstmis om te doen is. Annie is alleen nog met zichzelf bezig en vergeet haar vriendin. Maar s nachts heeft ze een droom waarin ze zichzelf ziet als Scrooge! Op kerstavond zullen drie geesten haar confronteren met haar gedrag. Maar was het wel allemaal een droom?
