Kenneth Branagh directs and stars as Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in this double bill of crime dramas based on the novels by Agatha Christie. In 'Murder On the Orient Express' (2017) notorious gangster Ratchett (Johnny Depp) is murdered on a luxurious train ride through Europe, and Poirot must solve the case before another victim is claimed by one of the 13 mysterious passengers on board. Among the suspects are Princess Dragomiroff (Judi Dench), Pilar Estravados (Penélope Cruz), a devout missionary, and Mrs Hubbard (Michelle Pfeiffer), an American widow. Can Poirot identify the killer before another life is taken? In 'Death On the Nile' (2022) Poirot is on holiday in 1930s Egypt when he finds himself on the hunt for a killer after rich heiress Linnet Ridgeway-Doyle (Gal Gadot) is tragically murdered aboard a cruise ship travelling down the Nile. After discovering that a number of the passengers had a reason to kill her, Poirot faces a race against time to solve the case before the ship reaches port.
