Punk thank you: English Singer / Songwriter debut Frank Turner may still be known as the singer of British Punk Band Million Dead. On his solo debut "Love, Ire & Song", the English presents itself as a folk influenced singer/songwriter. Similar to Billy Bragg, whose roots are also in punk, Turner's songs seem effortless and intimate, are full of humanity and self-doubt, but also full of love for people on the street. The album "Love Ire & Song" appeared in England in 2008 and appeared there in many annual plums. Frank Turner played in 2009 at all major European festivals. "Defiantly brilliant", praised the "NME", and Mike Davies from BBC Radio One heard "one of the best singer songwriters of our generation."
